Seems like these guys now have a world record. Driving from Nordkapp in Norway to Cape Town in South Africa in 28 days and 8hrs
I have a similar route to them in my sights but certainly won’t be traveling that fast. I plan to explore the countries enroute

Why it cost them that much I’m not sure. Maybe that cost includes both vehicles and all the bribes they paid?
