Wasn't that why people came to America, the streets were paved with gold. All jokes aside, there were people on here asking for these. Thought I would post it for them. You guys must be made of gold!
My $12 DIY side step for wifey seems reasonably priced!
Kinda like the term that drives me crazy, cautiously optimistic."True rock sliders engineered to take abuse" and "The step slider is rated for moderate off-road conditions" seem to speak in different directions
Built to withstand the 1000lb sisters thoughJeebus those things are huge!!! At first I thought ohh those look decent, then you see them on a truck and realize the proportions are nutz.
It is owl van$.You guys must be made of gold!

Maybe I’m over thinking it but if you slide laterally into a rock, stump or side of the trail (slow speed of course), the hit would have to jam up or tweak the internal extension/retraction mechanism inside, no??"True rock sliders engineered to take abuse" and "The step slider is rated for moderate off-road conditions" seem to speak in different directions
Nope (and I have plenty of other owl gear)![]()

As @Zimm has pointed out in the “rock slider” thread regarding how sliders should be mounted, I wonder how these are mounted underneath.
Or you could pack a plastic step ( below rated to a paltry 100kg) and save enough to pay for the fezzywig's dinner and booze for years , and pay for your taxis homeI have some good friends that look like the fezzywigs from a Christmas Carol, and they now drive to dinner as they cant frigging get in the truck... Not that I really want to solve that.. but these ugly beasts would work
Tie a rope to it and pull it into the truck after you climb in.Or you could pack a plastic step ( below rated to a paltry 100kg) and save enough to pay for the fezzywig's dinner and booze for years , and pay for your taxis home
