Well, one month into my grenadier fieldmaster only 1100 wonderful miles. However, July 3 at 10 AM when I went to use my Grenadier, it would not start. Accessory lights lit, turn to start mode, stepped on the break, brakes lighrs on rear came on just no start. Yellow triangle, red engine light on dash screen. AAA came for battery start battery. Battery fully charged. Shift lever remained in park. Would not move with depressing the break or attempting to start. Called my service center who had me check the brake switch at the top of the brake under dash which appeared to all be intact. Dead in the water since July 3. Over 180 miles to the closest dealer service center where I bought the car and equidistant to the one in South Carolina. Over $1200 flatbed car cannot be towed according to one company because the car cannot be put into neutral stick is stuck in park. Has anyone any suggestions as what else I can do , while the car sits and ages in my driveway. Apparently technicians at both of these sites said they never had this problem and had no suggestions. Apparently there is no easy access to a parking shift release. At the mercy of the dealer to send out a flatbed, make me an appointment and pick up my car. Although they promised me a loaner whenever I needed service , that has not yet arrived. Contacted Ineos customer service directly. Just looking for any suggestions that I can tinker around with without avoiding the Warranty to see if my baby will start.

Thank you.
Plowing thru manual and located info.
Any thoughts as to what may have happened?
Once in neutral any ideas on how to start?

Normally when you get the yellow warning triangle on the Christmas tree there is a corresponding warning message explaining the fault that appears in the lower left corner of the central display, are you getting one? Otherwise I would try disconnecting the battery for a period and then reconnecting it (after allowing the central display to go completely to sleep and waiting ten minutes or so, there are instructions in the manual on what to do prior to disconnecting the battery).

I would also go over both fuse boxes and make sure every fuse if fully and securely pushed in.

Thank you.

So we have been in the shop for over a week have not heard anything. If it was not for the tow company telling me they dropped my green grenny off in 1 piece I would not have any information at all. What is your expectation and your reality for communication from your service rep or manager when you drop your grenadier off for repair?

The few times mine was dropped off for repairs I got daily updates (the longest it spent at the dealer was ~3 days) usually in the form of a text message.

At the very least you should have received a call after it was dropped off to let you know that they've gotten it and a timeline

I received daily updates on mine when I dropped it off for warranty work. I would call them.

I have used a Toyota Dealer (80 miles) for 39 years. Excellent service. I would not have expected them to call me when the towed vehicle arrived. I would have called them after a couple of days to see what they planned to do to assess or fix the problem though.

So few of the service centers in my state you will think that it would be an open market grab to become known as one of the better for outstanding Inoes service centers. First time dealing with the service on this vehicle. Trying to give the benefit of the doubt but this is the same dealer that took over a week to get me in and assist in arranging flatbed with sled services. Making you feel like they are doing you a favor as opposed to offering you service with a smile.
