Well, one month into my grenadier field master only 1100 wonderful miles. However, July 3 at 10 AM when I went to use my Grenadier, it would not start. Accessory lights lit, turn to start mode, stepped on the break, brakes lighrs on rear came on just no start. Yellow triangle, red engine light on dash screen. AAA came for battery start battery. Battery fully charged. Shift lever remained in park. Would not move with depressing the break or attempting to start. Called my service center who had me check the brake switch at the top of the brake under dash which appeared to all be intact. Dead in the water since July 3. Over 180 miles to the closest dealer service center where I bought the car and equidistant to the one in South Carolina. Over $1200 flatbed car cannot be towed according to one company because the car cannot be put into neutral stick is stuck in park. Has anyone any suggestions as what else I can do , while the car sits and ages in my driveway. Apparently technicians at both of these sites said they never had this problem and had no suggestions. Apparently there is no easy access to a parking shift release. At the mercy of the dealer to send out a flatbed, make me an appointment and pick up my car. Although they promised me a loaner whenever I needed service , that has not yet arrived. Contacted Ineos customer service directly. Just looking for any suggestions that I can tinker around with without avoiding the Warranty to see if my baby will start.

So we have been in the shop for over a week have not heard anything. If it was not for the tow company telling me they dropped my green grenny off in 1 piece I would not have any information at all. What is your expectation and your reality for communication from your service rep or manager when you drop your grenadier off for repair?

I have dealt with a semi local (80 Miles) Toyota Service Department for 39 consecutive years and they have serviced all of my Land Cruisers, 4Runners and Suburbans. They should be the standard by which all Service Departments are judged.
I would not have expected them to call me to say the towed vehicle had arrived and I would have called them a day or two after it had arrived to sort issues out and to see what they intended to look at to get it operational again.
