Found a great place that will work on the Grenadier! They put on my rock rails with steps that come out when you open the door and then tuck up and away safely protected! Sturdy and very practical! They did a great job!

They did an excellent job installing several items for me and I will use them again!

Can the steps be disables so if you are hard up against an obstacle (say a rock outcropping) they don't try to extend? Or is the slider function more decorative than functional?

They can be disabled, there is a switch mounted on the driver side to turn them on or off. I have the same sliders but it wasn’t and easy install. If I had to do it again I would have someone else install them.

Yes if you do not wish the step to come out, you can turn it off so your step will not be damaged! Love this rock rail!

Have a set of skid plates from front to rear, covering the differentials, and nothing able to get between the plates! Best protective plates I have seen!
