Yes the tires are very beefy.

And there's a scene where the guys are studying the map on the hood. The hood looks very high, much higher than the cars I've seen on display.

I’m guessing the tyres on one of the vehicles is Wrangler Duratrac.

Can make out on the sidewall some of the Wrangler wording as well as the distinctive Duratrac sidewall tread pattern.

We can see tires, some small parts added...
What about engines, suspensions, fuel tank size....??

Lovely videos.

No roof racks for extra gear, shade awning etc. & no jerry cans with extra fuel, so tents and provisions in the back of the Grenadiers or did they have a support vehicle that we didn't see in the video.

There couldn't have been many/any fuel stops.

In episode 2 you'll see the spare tyre and shadow on the ground which is tricky to work out where that tyre is positioned...I dare say that it might not be a...I can't say it...Happy motoring
