More shocks available

So Ive been driving my fox 2.5's for a week or so. Only highway, country road and commute to work in traffic.

My impression is that there is less side to side sway than in stock. Mostly noted on sharp turns like off ramps at speed. The car feels "planted" and well connected to the asphalt. Really great improvement.

I have a loaded trunk with drawers full of gear, roof rack with awning and side molle with 20lbs of gear per side. I have the hidden winch bumper with the bull bar. So a decent amount of weight. I changed the front springs to the heavier load rated Ineos red springs (double red triangles) per dealer recommendations. No lift.

When braking hard at speed the front doesn't dive as hard as stock suspension, there is zero pull left or right. It just feels more controlled.

When driving over the dots on roads I hear them but I don't feel them in the vehicle regardless of speed. A very nice feeling.

I'm going for some real hard trails in 2 weeks with hours of washboard driving in the desert. I'll update my review then. But so far I'm very happy.

I should be installing mine on Thursday, I have one of the most pathetic reasons for getting these. I sound deadened the interior as much as I could, but I still get plastic noise on bumps. So I figured that more comfortable shocks = less interior noise. First world problems require first world solutions.

How are the shocks ? I took it out on washboard roads again today.. granted I was at 40 psi.. but it was loud and rattle-ly

I have them currently on the softest setting for low speed and high speed. I would say they are currently slightly more comfortable than stock, but not as good as air suspension or active shocks. They do reduce interior noise because they take some of the “edge” of bumps.

Regarding your observation - I did some research and apparently the 2.5 performance elite take 2000-4000 miles to break in. Mine are not making noise, but i also have not offroaded. They will apparently be harsh and stiff for about 3k miles. This is in stark contrast to normal shocks which only require a few hundred miles.

Personally, they are currently comfortable enough (on road) to not regret the purchase. However, i expect them to be much better after 3k miles.
