Model Year 2026 (MY26) – Confirmed & Speculated Changes

A new part number is not fixing the issue. You need to come to terms with that. They would have to completely redesign the front shaft which would involve completely different joints that don't seem to exist in the OEM world at the moment.

The fix is going to be a different front axle configuration. You might not even notice the change if they stick to Cararro.
A high pinion diff would be one solution.

One more thing mentioned was that it now comes with a driver facing camera as a security feature. Most likely to improve the vehicle's ability to prevent accidents and maintain safe driving conditions by monitoring the driver. Keep us posted once you get the details of you '26 TM.

A driver facing what now??

More of the great nanny state intrusion items we all like to see. Somehow the mirror monitors the driver and will provide feedback as to what it believes are you inabilities to drive properly or safely. The one I looked at in Plano Texes (Sewell) had a lever at the bottom of the mirror for shifting it to night and day positions. Seems like a step backwards to me but, am sure, it will be welcomed by some.

What is on the 2024's and 2025's now? I have a wolf box so I do not remember. My Escalade has that lever but that is for from regular to video camera rear view. I have found that auto diming is hit or miss. My 2010 Expeditions mirror auto dimmed so much all you could see are headlights.

It could very well be a lidar sensor. I don’t think it’s a regular camera like on the Wolfbox. The word camera was used to describe it. This is INEOS aligning with vehicle safety standards more than an awaited feature.

The MY23 will be the future collectable model, mark my words!
