L Track on Grenadier Bonnet

Curious if anyone has thought of mounting L tracks on the Grenadier bonnet. Could be a practical spot for securing lightweight gear—maybe recovery boards, a solar panel, or even a small tool kit. The idea keeps popping in my head and I was again reminder by an article in expeditionportal.com about an expedition bonnet bag.

The Grenadier bonnet is aluminium and not really meant for heavy loads. Where the cut off point between acceptable and not is anyone's guess. At slower speeds a solar panel might be acceptable. Higher speeds over washboard maybe not.
