Hi Stu.

The new site looks great. Many thanks.

Just a minor note: when you click on a thread and use the "Jump to new" function - it doesn't actually take the reader to the latest message.

cheers

Thanks its very much a 2.0 version at the moment, I just tried on a few threads and the jump to new works for me. Anybody else have this issue?

I just tested with a 6.5mb image and it was ok. I'll try and find out a real number and put it in the soon to be created new FAQ section.

Great effort on the system server migration Stu and team!! What's more, the courteous tone and tenor of forum posts is a pleasure to be part of. thank you!

Themes are not in a cronological order. New ones should be at the top, but they are at the end.

Edit: Filter „ascending“ does not work. This should be the order by default in all categories, I think.

The old one was much better. Never touch a running system.

Yes, same for me.

However: "Jump to new" is likely not working, as all postings might look "new" to the software. This would be the case, if the new database is not aware of the postings every user has seen so far.

For me, I am currently updating this myself by reading the new postings I haven't yet seen and then marking the respective forum as 'read'.

Top work Stu.
When I open a thread I have to scroll all the way down to the bottom to read the last post.

Also in some chats like Grenadier Pub the topics run chronologically, but the very last topic or two is right at the very bottom in that forum.

Apologies if not making myself clear. No major issue just not as logical as last version and obviously a teething issue/gremlin.

Thanks for the efforts

it seems that if you have already viewed a thread and there are no new posts then you default to the first post on that thread it seems.

If you have new posts that you have not viewed you are directed to the first unread post, and there is the 'button to jump to new' at the top of the page.

Once you have viewed the posts that button disappears

Now this is just trial and error on my part, if I notice anything else or see some sort of option to help with this I'll make it so.

ITs pretty much as @emax says I believe.

Where has the button „Mark all threads read“ gone?

It’s called ‘Mark forums’ read now. But functions the same way.

This is on an iPhone. I’m pretty sure android should be similar
