JBL Nano Sub Mount

For those that don't have Premium Sound and purchased the JBL Nano sub after the fact, how did you mount the JBL? There's not a lot of space and I'm worried about laying it over the parking brake line.

I do not have the JBL sub but I was able to mount my small sub under the passenger seat using multiple 3M "dual lock" pieces and strips. I don't know if the JBL fits but my PIONEER SUB fit perfectly.

I haven't seen that Pioneer sub. I like how compact it is.

It does an admiral job; I'm quite pleased with it. I did not want something big taking up otherwise useful space and I never have rear seat passengers so good bass for the front passengers was more important thank a big boom throughout the truck.

Not a JBL, but I did mount mine above the handbrake mechanism using the already threaded holes in the floor.
I made a bracket that the sub attaches to. The sub comes off with 2 screws if access to the mechanism is needed.

I will unscrew the sub when I have a minute and photo the simple bracket I made. (It's dark here now)

I (ahem, @anand) used the factory input. We needed to lengthen it but did not need to run any seperate lines.

I ordered the JBL Nano, uncovered the wire and was able to make it work perfectly using the original wiring harness taped in white and foam. I didn't have to remove the plastic moulding. I had to strip it back a bit to get the length. Overall, I'm pleased with the project and the sound. I know its not a 12" sub but for ease, its a great upgrade. I still need to devise a bracket. I hope to design and 3d print a bracket and bolt it in. Many thanks to the forum.
