Had an issue with my screen going black and not returning after reset. Here is what I have been able to replicate and I hope it helps anyone else that is having the same issue. I am not sure if it is a Apple problem or a INEOS problem, but no speedometer or fuel gauge, etc created a me problem.

If I utilize the USB ports inside the console and plug in an iphone to either the USB-A or USB-C ports before I turn the vehicle on, the screen will remain black and never come to life with the splash screen or any information. The radio still works, the knobs still adjust volume, change stations, you get the click feedback, etc., but you have no visual display for speed, fuel, temp, menu, etc.

Performing the reset function using the mute & right arrow buttons causes the system to reset/reboot, but doesn't resolve the issue for me. The only way I can get the screen to return to service so far is to perform the following sequence:
  1. Unplug phone
  2. Turn off vehicle, open door
  3. Pull 20 amp fuse FC12 in the fuse box below the ignition key
  4. Turn key to accessory mode but don't start vehicle
  5. Re-insert fuse and the display boots up and all is well again

Then you can plug your phone back in and no issues until you turn off the vehicle and try to restart it with the phone still plugged in. This is with both an older Iphone on a lightning plug and a newer 17 with a USB-C. I ran the latest iphone update to IOS 26.4.2 and still have the same problem and I have carplay disabled on both (personal preference)

If you use the charging ports in the rear seat instead of the console ones it works just fine. No matter if the phone is plugged in or not, once it goes black, the screen never returns, even after letting it sit overnight, pulling the fuse or disconnecting the batteries. If you start the vehicle before you pull the fuse and re-install it, the check engine light comes on with a variety of codes, but I was able to clear them with my OBD2 reader.

No issues related to being connected via bluetooth and I don't have any android devices to test.
