Does anyone know if a B58 (petrol) Grenadier has any form of inertial shut-off or inertia switch on the fuel pump, like most vehicles do, in order to ensure that the pump is shut-off in the event of a crash or incident?
I haven't seen any mention of such a switch so wonder if this is dealt with as part of a wider vehicle crash protocol, along with airbag deployment etc. I have no particular reason for asking other than that I have with certain lesser vehicles (such as the LR Disco2) known the inertia switch to disable the fuel pump unexpected and need resetting. I presume that no-one has had a similar experience with a Grenadier.
