You can tell Jim's done this before he got out to check the water depth.

That was on 13 September

So the question is did he hit the post; and if so has Sir Jim billed him for the damage...

He could just blame it on Max Verstappen

I have previously raised the issue of how the Grenadier will perform on the bitumen and complained about the lack of output from INEOS on this point.

I think Lewis totally blew away any concerns in this regard: with great speed, hard cornering & maximum road holding. If Lewis Hamilton is pleasantly surprised I am very happy

I agree. Lewis gave it full beans... impressive

Nearly all vids show the IG off-road... understandable, but not how most of them will be used, most of the time. It needs to drive well on the bitumen. Doubt my Defender could do what Lewis made the IG do!

You've known me since we met!
Well that's a statement Lewis.
They could have met 10 minutes before or 10 years ago

given Ineos' many years of supporting Mercedes F1 i'm sure they're well acquainted
Yes, it just seemed like a strange thing to say if you don't know the back story.
As Ineos have gone from just being a sponsor to owning a third of the team I guess that means Jim is his boss
