I'm ready start spending some intimate time with the CAN bus...

I have been asking them more questions, service light still not working. I also asked about coding like start stop button AC recirculating always on, seatbelts etc.

Please see below, I will probably order one especially as In in cayman with no dealer.

First of all, regarding your questions:

  • We are currently the only manufacturer of diagnostic devices that can communicate with INEOS and support all 19 control units.
  • Most functions have been implemented in the powertrain. The service reset is currently in progress and all our INEOS customers will receive a free online update as soon as the new version is available.
  • The coding functions you mentioned, such as deactivating start/stop, speed warnings and seat belt reminders, are not yet available and may be added if we receive enough customer requests.
    I am also not sure whether the original INEOS tester offers all these functions. So far, I am only aware of the rear seat belt deactivation function, but INEOS only deactivates this if it can be proven that the vehicle has been converted from a 4-seater to a 2-seater.

We have been active in the field of independent workshop diagnostic equipment for over 20 years, supporting more than 85 vehicle brands.   • You can update your device online free of charge within one year of purchase; however, your license is valid for life. App updates are always free of charge.

GlobeGuard INEOS (item no.: 20230) is based on GlobeGuard BASIC ONE, but is also available on the GlobeGuard Pro device.

Here is the difference between Basic and Pro devices:
GlobeGuard Basic - 650.00 CHF
-> ONLY for 1 brand (e.g. INEOS)
-> For cars, vans or motorcycles from model year 2008 onwards
-> Cannot be extended to other vehicle brands; ONLY a change to another brand is possible (e.g. INEOS to FORD).

GlobeGuard Pro - 850.00 CHF
-> For 1 to n-vehicle brands (e.g. INEOS, Land Rover, FORD, ...)
-> For passenger cars, vans, motorcycles, trucks, buses, trailers, agricultural machinery, industrial engines and Truma Combi heaters
-> Can be expanded to include any number of additional vehicle brands (1, 3, 10 or all) - various attractive license packages are available.

How did you go about ordering the unit and software? Perhaps that’s posted somewhere I missed
 
I haven’t order it yet they came back with the above, if they sort the service reset they would get tons of business.

I also asked is the app is in English, I’m form the UK, we are all terrible at languages.
