Local Area Thread ich geb den Grenny wieder ab!

Dear Mr Ratcliffe,

I have followed the development of the Grenadier from the very beginning, with great enthusiasm and anticipation. You truly created what I considered to be my dream car – the only vehicle of its kind that combined classic design with genuine everyday usability. Above all, it was a car that felt as though it had been made for me.

At last, after years of waiting, the day arrived when I proudly took delivery of my Grenadier. Unfortunately, the joy I had long imagined was short-lived.

The passion you, Mr Ratcliffe, have for this vehicle, and the spirit that INEOS as a brand seeks to embody – none of it has reached me as a customer. My dream car spent over three months in workshops. My courtesy car during this time: a Ford Puma.

The simple matter of regulating temperature – warm and cold – seemed to be an impossible challenge for the Grenadier. And from INEOS? No passion. No enthusiasm. No fighting spirit worthy of the car’s rugged image. No gesture of goodwill. No attempt at a solution that would allow me to remain an owner of the Grenadier.

I am therefore left with no choice but to return the vehicle. INEOS’s response? “Yes, no problem. There’s nothing we can do.”

It will now be painful for me each time I see a Grenadier on the road. You are building a powerful image for the brand, but in my case, it has revealed itself to be merely a façade – one that hides nothing truly special behind it.

Yours sincerely,
Andreas Kohn
