Horsepower

I am very satisfied with stock power and gears on 34/35's. But I come from a world of severely underpowered vehicles.

Agile now offers gear sets to regain some gearing after installing larger tires if you're going to be doing more severe offroad work or towing excessively heavy stuff.

If I was planning on really rock crawling this particular truck I would most certainly change gears. But I have other trucks for that and at that point we're just talking gearing not HP.

Remember, HP is what sustains speed not what gets you up to speed.

Not happy at all with the power only when offroad and loaded for a weekend. I also have 35's it becomes a dog on the free way at passing speeds.

To be fair I do not load out my truck. You are probably the ideal candidate for Agiles gears.

I'll have to take a look didn't know they made a kit!! Only question I'd have is can I still set the cruise at 85-90mph on the interstate?

I am very happy with the horsepower and torque of my petrol Grenadier. It seems just right.

However, I would be even happier with a baby Duramax 3.0 L diesel, with 305 hp and 495 pound feet of torque. (My previous vehicle was a GMC Sierra 1500 Denali, and I averaged 27 MPG over the life of the truck, easily reaching the low 30s on the highway and never below the low 20s in traffic.)

I have owned a dozen or so BMW's over the past several decades, including three 7 Series with proper V8 engines. Nevertheless, the B58 I6 in the Grenadier seems appropriate, and it is very satisfying to me.
