BMW tries to hide the actual type but it seems it is the later type but coloured green ... and price is accordinlgly!

My dealer Magic in Perth wasn’t able to advise an equivalent retail product and I have also been unsuccessful……. but the BMW dealer, a 2 minute walk from the Magic Ineos showroom sold me a 1.5l bottle of concentrate for just over $25. Pretty good value I reckon.

Keep an eye out for white crusts at the seams. It's not uncommon in BMW land for these expansion tanks to fail.

Has anyone sourced an online USA vendor that sells the genuine BMW HT-12 coolant in a smaller volume than a gallon? I just want a bottle handy to top off v a jug of green juice. Gracias!

Got all of the fluids and oil filters I use for the Grenadier at FCPEuro: https://www.fcpeuro.com/ since they have pretty much everything for BMWs.

Another place you can try is https://www.rmeuropean.com/ but I don’t know about finding smaller bottles of coolant.

Not mentioned here but usually coolant levels are checked when cold. Is this same with IG?
