Hi I’m Sue McCathie - we take delivery of our 2023 Grenadier on Friday

Lovely part of the world - over between Insch and Huntly here.

Enjoy the truck when it arrives, share a pic when you get it - and of the dogs!

Sorry can’t help with the dog crate question, ours just jump in the back

Yes, G&L Marshall beside the railway station, they’re excellent. Nothing too much trouble for them and thoroughly nice people

I just use a cheap collapsible wire dog crate similar to the one in the photo below. You can easily fit a couple side by side in the back of the grenadier (i have a cheap homemade 6 inch "shelf" in the boot which raises it above the wheel arches so gives a bit bore width). The crates are beautifully lightweight to remove and put back in when you don't have dogs in the back and want the boot space for something else and they collapse flat if storage space is an issue.. I think the medium size ones are around £30 in my local agricultural co-operative. A towel over the top and back stops it rattling against the cargo barrier ( which will cause you to think something much more serious is rattling when you accelerate). I stick a towel in the base usually but put it in the wash last saturday as it was soaked, muddy, and stank of wet dog.
