Hi, please chime in if you know a solution - I pulled on a side gravel road to engage the lockers, they turned on fine but they are not disengaging. I moved from Low locked to high unlocked, turned the steering wheel, drive a bit, reversed, turned on and off the car multiple times, locked the car etc. the lights on the dashboard and on the lockers buttons keep blinking.
Anything else I could try?
Thanks

It happened with me too. Two things "could" help:
  1. drive on purpose on an obstacle (rough terrain)
  2. drive backwards and brake very hard.
No guarantee that it will work in your case, but let "us" know please.

Thank you both! I did what you suggested and got the lights to turn off. The hard breaking in reverse didn’t work (or maybe I didn’t break hard enough). The sharp wheel turning did the trick. I was under the impression that turning the engine off or switching to High would force the lockers to disengage but this time the light were blinking even after turning the engine off and locking the car for 10 min.

Also the lockers disengage right away, the tell tale light on the front is tied to a speed sensor.
This is a point worth repeating. My experience is that the lockers disengage pretty much right away. it take a while for the car to confirm the unlock using the method of looking for difference in wheel rotations for each axle.

Yep that's my experience. Not the best system as many have said. i.e. you cannot re-engage the lockers until the system has worked out it has dis-engaged them which under certain past experiences is a right PITA!

They did do a "change of mind" software as Ineos calls it update. You can press the button and have them re engage if you did engage them and you need them again.

I remember somethings were being rolled out for 2024 vehicles that were not avail to the 2023 ones. Wonder if that applied to this.

Only for cars MY24 and later - AFAIK.

EDIT: ECrider was faster.

Has this been confirmed to be part of the US ADAS software package?
I believe it did, I used it early this year when I unlocked and then thought I should keep them on for the next portion of the hill.

So the telltale light turns off immediately, while the overhead locker button lights require speed sensor input, to turn off?

Still hoping for this "change of mind" update. Still annoying that you can't re-engage the lockers when they are blinking.

What year is your Grenadier

What did the dealer say is the hold up. I have it on my 25 QM

My 2025 works just the opposite - the push button light extinguishes immediately upon turning the locker off. It’s the dash axle diff lock telltale that takes some distance travelled to extinguish.
