Hello from Germany

They have been placed under the seat, in the centre console or down under the glovebox. Look at the links below under point 54 (second heading):

54. UHF (CB) RADIO: How to install a UHF (CB) Radio in an INEOS Grenadier without drilling any holes here (RHD cars only) and fitout here and here. LHD drive cars look here and here and detailed video here;

I joined this page because I need an idea of where to Place my midland m88 CB-radio.

Has anyone a good idea?
I installed two radios in my Grenadier: a VHF-FM with a detachable head just in front of the gear shifter, and a VHF-AM with a speaker microphone. The FM radio is under the front passenger seat and the AM radio is mounted vertically under the rear seats. The FM detachable faceplate gives me full functionality while the speaker mic allows me to scroll through pre-programmed channels on the AM. As both speakers are close to me, the sound is adequate. If I didn't need to transmit on the AM, I would have considered a radio that allows FM transmission and AM listen-only such as the Icom IC-2730A which is nice and compact. I used a professional installer as the runs for the roof-rack mounted antennas are tricky. I have a roof tent so wanted to keep the antennas low profile and went with the VL-1220-496 (AM) and VL-1600-496 (FM) from Antennas.us. I'm not a CB user but hope that helps. Best, Jason
