Da muss wohl was selbstgebautes dran…..

Take the warning triangle out of the bag and relocate the warning vests to under the front seats, repack and the panel will no longer bulge:

Indeed . the high visibility vests should anyway be in reach of driver & pax and worn before leaving the vehicle. My HV vests are all located in the door boxes and I need these occasionally when I am called to accident with game or now during harvesting season. In some countries there must be as many HV vests on board as persons could be transported.

Oh yeah, safety first ... wow.

The manufacturers of safety vests must have done a good job in Brussels.

Aldi sells them from time to time for 5€/pcs.

Just to let you know - most countries in EU are mandated to one HV vest per vehicle
But e.g. CZ Hvratska / Croatia is mandatory to have as many vests as persons are on board. At least the penalty in CZ enforced. At least the HV vests are really cheap to obtain.

I always carry in the door boxes life vests, already a lot of years, without feeling any pressure from any law. It always felt as logical that in case of accident or emergency, all passengers should have easy access to a life vest. It doesn't weigh, it is cheap, and in my case, didn't cost me a dime: always kept the ones I got for free at events or during my professional activities.

If you do it voluntarily, it would be strange to feel pressure from anybody, so this is a non-information.

But the nannying everywhere makes me puke. They treat us like the dumbest muppets. And it really shocks me how few people are still sensitive to it. They let themselves be treated as if they were incapacitated.

There seems to be no more self-respect.

But I won't delve into politics. It would spoil my evening.
