Brings back memories! I saw them close to 50 years ago at a small club here in the states - the Shaboo Inn. Love their stuff!Blue Grenadier at The Stranglers in Warwick.

Such a good stretch of road
And such a good vehicle for it. Granted I wasnāt towing anything, but I had a couple people and a fair amount of stuff. The turbos on that thing have it performing at altitude like a TA152. Itāll go faster than I wanna go on that road. And on the way down with that eight speed transmission, full-time four-wheel-drive and my 285 is on there, you barely have to use the brakes. Same thing coming down I 70 in the Denver. This thing has so much Mechanical and aerodynamic drag. Itās a pleasure to drive it downhill.Such a good stretch of road
Was heading back again last night. I thought Iād wait long enough for the afternoon storms to dissipate. Ended up doing this 11,000 foot pass in a torrential thunderstorm that turned into hail. Luckily I donāt think my truck took any damage, but there was 2 inches of ice near the top of the pass. My mother-in-law was with me and said it was the worst weather she had ever been in in her life in Colorado. The hail wasnāt big, but it was very intense, we couldnāt even talk to each other at one point. It was so loud. Just kept the grenadier in standard mode, thought about putting it in four high, but didnāt even need to.Saw a green with a white roof in Winter Park. Didnāt get a good look, but it looked like it had some gear on it and a very nice patina of dust dirt. First one that Iāve seen up in Grand County.
Two miles high, and then someā¦
