Grenadier Spotted

So one week after my first spot which took 4 months I see 2 within a minute of each other! I'm visiting friends near Lyme Regis and see one parked on the road and another in a driveway literally a few hundred metres apart! In Uplyme ear The Talbot pub

Last Friday I was spotted by a Land Rover "old" Defender owner.
I was charging my car near the center of Ghent (at the apartment of my mother in law) and a cyclist stopped and said to me: "Waw, that's the new Grenadier, first time I see one."
I had time and I showed him my car. He even called his wife, who came over!
When they go on Holiday, his wife is the driver . And they travel a lot: Morocco, Iceland, ...
His Defender is from 2014, and I am invited to see his/her car.
His wife asked me: "Do you sometimes go off road?"
And he answered: "Yes, look here, he already has scratches!" :ROFLMAO:
He has to park his car outside of the center of town because of emission norms!
Nice encounter :)

I saw the first Gren, inky black, today at 1:30 pm on the B426 near Pfungstadt. For a short moment I thought to see a Jeep Renegade or Mercedes G because of the round DRL, but the Gren grin of the driver was not to be overlooked. Unfortunately, I could not see the license plate, because I had eyes only for the Gren.

I am travelling in the beautiful State of Tasmania. It is truly a magnificent environment. The Grenadier has been a magnet for comment and the occasional "thumbs up" 👍from alert bystanders!!
However, in the carpark of a major hardware chain (Bunnings) in Launceston the following conversation occurred:
Two chaps walking past.. one says to the other: "What do you reckon that is?"
The serious response:"It's a Croation "knock-off" of a Defender!"😂
Then they noticed me alighting from the vehicle.. expectant look on their faces...
I replied " Nope!... British design, a mix of European engineering and built in a reconfigured Mercedes factory in France with a BMW straight 6 turbo diesel and a ZF box "
The immediate response was "I'll look it up. BMW Engine eh? Now you have my attention!"
I've also been accosted in other car parks .. the response to the Scottish White livery is overwhelmingly positive as is the "solidity" of the structure. A fellow in a monster RAM dual cab (with 8 seats!) and recently relocated to Launceston for work from Qld. came over to admire it. Said if they had made a 6 seater ( he has 4 children) he'd have bought one without hesitation instead of the RAM...

Not far away vom my home.

Maybe the forum could start a Grenadier location map. You know, kind of like one of those publicly sourced sex offenders maps.
I didn't know , but now I do.

Watch out tomorrow ;-) ! I'll be around that area with mine (took delivery Tuesday). Britannia blue with white roof.

EDIT: Isn't @emax living close to Pfungstadt? And his colour is black?
