Apparently they are the same housings, just different BCM settings for amber or red rear turns.... From what I can gather, that is one of (perhaps the) issue with the tow harness outputs actually

I don't need steps , I just leap in no hands.
But I have used them when mucking about with stuff on the roof.
I put my boots sideways ; use them like climbing shoes.
I have sanded my calves when exiting and "falling out" over the sliders whilst wearing shorts.
Rookie mistake that I've trained myself not to do anymore!
P.S. grippy tape on the slippy ladder is a must , esp given the fact I have to get on the rack to undo/do the tent and stuff.
