Getting an additional power wire up top

Seeking suggestions for routing a 12v. wire through to the roof that can be switched from the inside to power a Starlink on the roof rack. My two factory 12v sources are already being used for lighting.

I’m looking for this as well, but for an antenna cable instead.

I want to recall reading somewhere on this forum that a cable can be fed through the holes where the existing electrical connectors are located on the roof. Then fed behind the B-pillar down to the floor and onwards.

Correct, but I'm not use at seaching, but possibly in the 'what did you do with your Grenadier today' thread?

I recently routed some RG-58 from underneath the rear seats up the B-pillar and out the rear LHD Passenger side roof access port. I was able to fit the coax through the same rubber weather seal grommet as the pre-existing roof DTP plug. I found this thread useful to look at the stripped interior photos to know where to position my fish tape. I did not drop the headliner. This Ineos Trim removal guide might also be useful.

Perhaps even more than antenna coax, IMO care should be taken w/ current-carrying wires such as solar. I.e. wrapped & secured to prevent vibration-induced chafe / short circuits, proper fusing etc.

Which trims did you need to remove to feed the cable through? Both B pillar trims or was it enough with less?

I have managed to remove the B pillar trim, and the trim under the driver seat.

Now I need to figure out how to get from the top of the B pillar out to the roof via the grommet for the aux power. Any ideas? Do I need to remove the roof trim? If so how?

I’ve managed to peek behind the roof trim, just on the other side of the roof DTP plug and I can’t really see how I’m supposed to be able to feed any cable through here…
