Ineos have officially launched the Game Viewer.

Saying that it's been around for a while, @Logsplitter posted some photos last year.

I saw the INEOS reel with them cutting off the roof. Wondered what they were doing. Very cool

Yea - SJR/INEOS bought the company that makes them - KAVANGO. The main man at Kavango (Charles) is on our list of folks to speak with for the podcast but our three schedules - which are in three very different time zones - are difficult to line up.

Added note - and I'm not 100% on this but I think SJR was in a Kavango vehicle when he learned of the proper Defender's demise. I know for certain he was in Botswana when he heard the news.

Speaking of podcast, when is 3rd from the Lynn Calder series going to be released.

Coming with a manufacturers warranty from Ineos ups the game a bit. I’ve met the guys at Kavango as they serviced my Grenadier for me. They are a great bunch with a great manufacturing set up. Let’s hope these game viewers sell and Ineos Kavango is successful. They are certainly in the thick of it. As Maun ,Botswana is Safari central.

It would be interesting to know which items are deleted from the base vehicle. Obviously most of interior.

Things like adblue, heater, aircon, things controlled by the overhead panel such as difflocks, off road mode plus stop start etc?

It maybe a bit closer to the original no frills concept...

Being expensive it will be only be the more upmarket safari companies that will purchase those. Hopefully their drivers are good and get trained in the use of the Grenadier. Many of the cheaper safari companies drivers are used to clapped out old vehicles. Give them a powerful and relatively fast vehicle and they would wreck them in no time. There is no comparison in performance between a Grenadier and an old 4.2 diesel Landcruiser sans turbo.
