I'm interested in both, but for above what is "high speed"?
This was referring to the first attempt, universal joint at each end, which resulted in vibrations. The new shaft he reports no vibrations at any speed. This will of course be tested by others and the life of the shaft will be tested too. This may be the answer we all need. Time and triad will tell, but it’s the most promising solution so far and theoretically could work.
