$2-70 to $2.80/L for diesel around Brisbane at the moment.

My nephew lives in Central Qld and his local has it at $3.20/L

Just remember as the price goes up the federal government takes more in excise and GST, multiplying the underlying price increase. These greedy sods obstinately refuse to cut excise. The government get more $ per litre than the drillers, refiners, petrol companies and servos - you know the people who actually bring you the fuel.

The GST is even put on the fuel excise, so a tax on a tax.

Call out the grifters.

In France last week €2.20 per litre (£1.90, $3.50 AUD) or $9.60 USD for US gallon.

That's what happens when one company has a virtual monopoly.

Put the 3.5T behemoth aside for now, Buy a cheap old wagon and go bush. If the worst happens and the fuel wants to return to where it originated, sacrifice a bit of your hygiene product and do a bush fix

Probably a good time to stock up on lube oils for the next service. Most people seem to miss the price increases and reduced supply of lube oils for longer periods when the fuel prices drastically increase.

Fun for me tomorrow. I leave Melbourne with van and car PPF wrapped. I have enough fuel to get to Wagga Wagga, but next stop was Dubbo, but I was just informed Dubbo is basically out of diesel. So I need to take my own supply or find another place to store the van.

Currently I have enough fuel for 1,100km max.

Not sure what's going on there. PetrolSpy shows nine outlets with diesel in Dubbo. Tomorrow might be different.

Prices here Jumped up 10 - 15 cents overnight. Again.... Apparently Quantas is feeling the pinch, airlines have begun to pass the buck to consumers.

Cheapest in Perth today is 249.5c/l with average of 274.9 over the last week or so most places have gone up 90c/l - and as we run a few vehicles and do a few km per day - its having a significant effect on my business

We have had a suel watch app for years.. still doesnt help when pricing is like this. I havent even had the grenny for a week yet - I guess i'll run the defender if things get bad - thats got a long range tank that is full

Saturday when the US went to war with Iran, that day I went to Costco and filled up both tanks (OEM & LRA) @$3.46/gal. Today is @$4.39, so +93¢. I need to fill up again tomorrow. I like my LRA tank, when I find cheap gas, I fill up both tanks. Looks like Moab is $4.49, so similar to Colorado.
