I am not having a good week. I seem to be hitting several regular faults, and for the first time today, water is dripping on the passenger footwell. It's the hottest day today that I have owned the vehicle and I haven't seen it before.
I seem to be playing common faults bingo at the moment and whilst I may not have a full house, I must be close to getting a line:
- Rear parking sensors stuck on when in reverse
- when very cold, heating valve in the cubby flaps around
cracked windscreen in the usual place (now replaced)
- rear pressure vent flapping when rear windows open
- intermittent - when cold weather, the steering wheel clicks when rotating wheel in one direction (something catching).
- I did have the cold windscreen fogging inside the car last September i.e. too much aircon focused in one area. Not done it this year so far but I don't often use auto setting.
- periodic heat coming from cubby vents when cool from the front (when I forget to wait before firing up)
- weak heat output on auto during extreme cold when on auto (fine on manual) - i.e. when it was -6c, there was no heat directed to legs when on auto.
- water ingress in footwell from aircon.
on the plus side, no issues with door seals falling off or retaining water and safari windows don't leak. So, it looks like I am not in the for full house.
