Drowning my Grenadier (a sorry, soggy saga)

So went to Norfolk to collect my new to me Grenadier. A bit like my original collection back in April 2023, there was some drama as
(i) The MX-5 shed it's alternator belt 8 miles into the journey, (back on the journey within the hour as a fellow 4x4 Response member came out to me with some spanners).
(ii) The MX-5 refused to start on the way back in King's Lynn Tescos car park; I suspect the battery is on its last legs. The jump pack earned its keep.

Introducing MM23ZPD, built 14/04/2023, VIN ...2589, A Fieldmaster with front and rear diff locks, but no towbar in Shale Blue, the metallic one.

Going to need a dashcam, tow bar and a loadspace divider, so experience welcome. Does the Wolfbox work well as a dashcam? What should a tow bar and all the ancillaries cost in the UK? Any suggestions for a loadspace divider - I hung stuff off mine?
My private plate will be slapped on once I have the V5.
I'm told this was originally owned/used by Mark Tennant, the original commercial director for Ineos Automotive, which might explain the slightly odd specification.
Have good trips at all times! 🤞

"Hi Jeremy, glad it has gone to a good home! Yes indeed, this was mine. I wanted a Fieldmaster for the spec content and the more on road focused tyres (Bridgestones) but also wanted the diff locks for the rough stuff. It never missed a beat in the time I ran it - a couple of trips down to the South of France and primarily motorway miles. Sold with great reluctance!"

NFU Mutual collected my old Grenadier from Chandlers yesterday at 10:00 and has paid me today, so that's that.

I guess my old Grenadier will appear on a salvage website in a week or so, so keep an eye out for VIN...1607 or FP23MDN, as I have pulled my personal plate off and will transfer it to the new Grenadier when I get the V5. There are not too many Britannia Blue with a white roof and tow bar Utility station wagons out there, so it should be easy to spot.

If someone does buy it, drop me a line by DM as I have the dash cam head unit they can have, the safari roof bag and I'll hand over my service and accessory file, so you will get the original order, invoice and certificate of conformity.

I'd be delighted if it could be resurrected as it is too good to break. The engine will be junk, as it has been full of water for much too long, but it is hardly exotic in this day and age.

My ex Grenadier has appeared on a salvage site "runs and drives". One for the brave; after three months with the engine full of water, I cannot imagine it will run for long. The video shows it moving under its own power; I can imagine Ineos Automotive denying quite a lot of warranty work.

How is that even running......???? I thought you'd properly locked it?

'Careful' is perhaps stretching the truth. We've all seen the pictures of it after driving through running flood water🤷‍♂️🤔🤣
I have only driven through running flood water once and never again.

The two videos on here/YouTube are still, pooled water, the second one full of straw ends

£17,400 with several days left. So NFU aren't going to lose loads of money on that total loss.
