I’d love for people to run this experiment and report back what happens. Here’s the scenario:
  1. Set your audio to the FM radio, and tune to a station that you would normally listen to.
  2. Press the MUTE button at the center bottom of your infotainment controls.
  3. Keep driving for a while. Ideally, hit some potholes or bumps, but not required.
  4. Observe whether your audio stays muted, and if not, how long does it take to unmute without you specifically unmuting it?
My mute button works, but after only a few minutes or a few miles, it’ll unmute itself. Sometimes after 60 seconds, sometimes after 10 minutes, sometimes never. But more often than not, it unmutes itself even without me touching a button.

Can anyone else reproduce this? I resort to setting the volume to 0 to get around it.

Thanks.

Mine will often last 1-3 seconds. Bumps are not always necessary to cause it to turn off. It’s not a big deal to me, but it makes me chuckle.

Sorry but mine doesn't do that. Once muted it stays muted till the next ignition off/ on sequence. Believe me were I live it is full of potholes. My local council treat as urgent a pot hole if on a main road there is a risk of drowning in it.
