So I have a lot of back issues, including double fusion and experimental total joint replacement. It has left me with a lot of pain and numbness in my legs and sometimes I collapse when walking.
Anyway I have had hand controls fitted and a hoist for wheelchair (not currently using but I use a cane or 4 wheel walker + will order a chair before I go travelling to USA Canada later in the year)
As I now live in the Cayman Islands I decided to get the mods done before shipping the car, they both work really well.

I went for the fully manual hand controls as they were not sure how much they could intigrate with the bmw throttle pedal and for long term I thought it was a better option.

Makes the rest of us wonder what we are moaning about.
Really good to see someone like yourself doing this kind of vehicle and getting out travelling distances.
Good luck to you and don't forget to post plenty of pictures from your travels.
