Diff reliability

I did exactly the same when I first tried the difflock. Another case of read the manual first I must admit.

Saying that, if there are a lot of things going on and you are in a slightly stressful situation if is easy to forget the routine. (I wasn't)

The message did clear after a 10 minute shut off.

I also manage to upset it in the same way by pushing the Off road button on another occasion, forgetting that it needs to be stopped with the handbrake on.

Engaging reverse still annoys me. Why do I need my foot on the brake and press a button before pushing the lever forward? I wonder what would happen if I superglued the little button down?

I ran into this situation over the weekend. My brother was driving and he apparently likes to toggle CDL frequently. When CDL was disengaged before the rear diff lock, seems to have caused the rear diff lock error. This persisted until we did the 10 min engine off.

I'm kinda hoping for a aftermarket diff lock solution. The factor one is kind of a pain.

You would think that someone would be able to come up with some direct wiring to bypass the ineos computers. That would be ideal.
