Ambient temperatures around 40 here at the moment (105F)

My electric fan comes on on startup. Is this normal?
My "normal" life is in a more temperate climate so this is new to me.

The Grenadier has a higher level of active cooling than many cars. Having the fan on from immediate start is not uncommon.

I'm happy for the cooling fan to be on whenever the computer determines it is needed.

My judgement of ambient temperature brings zero value to the equation.

can someone help me with some information? This morning it was about 16g Celsius outside and the fans started but not as hard as if they were cleaning the DPF but more like they were cooling the engine. I turned off the engine and after 10 minutes they were still running. I turned it on and off again and the fans stopped instantly. Has anyone else had this happen? is there any explanation for this? because for me it is a bit illogical..
