The Grenadier has two, but I've noticed the left hand one on mine has @4mm of freeplay in the end; whilst the right hand one is rock solid.

I can't see any obvious way to tighten it up and wondered if this one is meant to be that way to allow for a little freeplay in the rear hinges?

Is there a nut on the inside like the one on the outside ? I would expect that if you tighten the nut ont he right side of the catch it should firm up .

I think the inside and outside nut are different . To adjust you loosen both and slide in and out .
To finalize position you set the “inside”nut and tighten the outside .
I think if you tighten the nut it will firm up .
The more i see it the more sense it makes .

It looks like if you undo those two (silver) flanged head, set screws the catch will come off and you can tighten everything up without changing its position.
Smear of copperslip in the back and reassemble.
Job done.
