I installed the Alucab specific load bar feet last night. Installing the loadbar feet was straightforward and only takes one tool - a t30 socket.
Adding the Alucab loadbar was a bit of a hassle getting some of the washers/nuts on. Each foot has two nuts/bolt/lockwashers holding the bar to the foot. The inboard washer/nut was easy, the outboard washer/nut was a massive hassle. It might be easier with tiny hands. This step took the longest by far.
If I did it over, I'd try installing all of the 13mm head bolts in the feet before installing the feet on the vehicle. Just getting the locknuts on a few threads, not tight. Then after installing the feet, slide the crossbar in, get the spacing right, and then tighten them down. This would easily have saved me 30 minutes.
I already owned the load bars (and the tent that goes on them), so this was a quick and easy way to add a low profile load bar system (and allow me to use my RTT).
Oh, and the instructions are silent on which positions to install the feet in, so I installed the feet in the forward two bolts on the front and rearmost two bolts on the rear.
