Hi Grenadier gang! I’m coming from 25 years of Land Rover dedication. Started with an extraordinary 1964 109 station wagon, all the way to a 2021 L663 P400 and a ton of things in between. I recently sold my beloved and highly modified 2014 Defender double cab.
In the next week or so I will be picking up my 2024 Trialmaster Diesel. I’m super excited, waiting for prep and some extras to get installed. I’m American, living in Germany and Portugal. Thanks for this forum, it helped a lot while I was doing my research. See you all in here, and maybe out there!

Why not a Quartermaster to replace the dual cab?
Good question. I like the QM. But I need an enclosed wagon now. The double cab was an extra car, and I’m moving to the IG for more frequent use. Dogs, kit, family etc. when considering a truck body the Ranger Raptor or Hilux were on my list and stacked up well. But station wagons that have off road capability (for real) are far less easy. Considered a Wrangler Rubicon…

Thanks Doc! A lot of German off road specialists that did Defender stuff have also taken up Grenadier support. Like with Defender, there are rich people that bolt stuff on and don’t care about price. And there are sensible among us who are more particular and actually value money and quality! Where it gets tricky is Portugal. Plenty of Land Rover support there, but no Grenadier to speak of. I spend a lot of time there also.
