Many Thanks. The MX Just has expanded features for other vehicles. Given I work on a lot of cars it’s nice to have the option. It also helps future proof you. Who knows what the Grenadier requires. So $50 now or more later. But than again nothing in life is guaranteed so who knows.
Excellent, GL! I’ve been happy with ours, does the things and very easy to use. Many Thanks.
I've decided to take the plunge on an MX+ and ordered one from Amazon this morning. Will report how it goes once I've had a chance to play with it.
Cheers
Steve
No you can’t. Unfortunately it’s a trip to the dealer. One question:
Did somebody check already, if it is possible to reset the service indication (appears after one year in the middle display) with the ANCEL BM700 or MX+?
I did my service intervall by myself (oil change etc) after one year but I am not motivated to drive to the next INEOS dealer to reset it there (more then 90km),
The "check engine" light is the last to go off when starting my Grenadier and it has never thrown a code. Seems to be the standard sequence of things. So I cleared the code. My normal start-up, I turn the key to get the electronics on, and wait until the airbag light goes off. I was told that is a sign that the first steps are done. At that point a few lights are still on, including the check engine. When I start the engine, the lights go off, with the ‘check engine’ amber light the last one to extinguish. I can’t remember, is that normal?
As I said the MX+ still sees a permanent code for the fuel sensor. Is that why the light stays on a bit, or is it just natural?
Were you able to reset or change the service interval with the Innova?Just picked up this one for my INEOS and Wagoneer seems to be good.

Innova 5610 - OBD2 Bi-Directional Scanner
The CarScan Pro 5610 by Innova Electronics is a powerful diagnostic tool for vehicles, providing accurate and comprehensive information for efficient repairs.www.innova.com
No, that must be done by a dealer tool onlyWere you able to reset or change the service interval with the Innova?
no change still can only be done by the dealerHi!
Any news, how to reset the service interval / indication, after having done an oil change by yourself??
This sounds like a scam post. Joined at 10:45 and posts this add like blurb. Thanks but no thanks. ReportingI've been following the scanner discussion with interest. Lots of solid info being shared for a new member like me. The OBDLink MX+ seems very popular, and I've also heard good things about the Innova 5610 and ANCEL BM700, especially for more targeted diagnostics.
But I discovered a new OBD2, it's the YOUCANIC UCAN II B scanner. It catch my interest and had a great info collected such as all-makes compatibility. it works across a wide range of vehicles without needing multiple tools. Plus, there's no subscription required like its really good, which is a huge plus these days. Add in free lifetime updates and actual support you can reach including calls, and it’s honestly looking like a very tempting option for DIYers and enthusiasts alike.
It’s reassuring to hear from folks who’ve had success clearing codes, even if some permanent ones still hang around. I’m curious though has anyone here used the YOUCANIC Pro specifically with the Grenadier or similar newer vehicles? I'd love to hear from you everyone. Thanks a lot!![]()
I bought this 5 months ago. It works great. Made for BMW and Mini. It is a ANCEL BM700. I bought it on AliExpress and saved. When I set up the IO Box Tuner the "B" port came loose and came out of the engine and triggered a dash code. I cleared it in a snap. It asks you is this a BMW.There is a struggle to even find an OBD2 reader that works well with the IG.
Note: I never had the CEL, but dealer said I showed the stored fuel code, so they updated the software. If you take your Grenadier to a dealer with the light on - they will give you a software update that fixes it.
If you clear the code, they will not.
