Does anyone have more updated BMW technical training manuals to post links to.
They are a great read and source of information for the BMW B57 & B58 engines.

I went and checked. Hard to get a good angle. Engine identification is on the vehicle-right upper front part of the block (as indicated on page 9 of the ST1505 BMW Engine Info Manual mentioned above). It is behind several hoses, so hard to get a good shot with a phone... but here it is (See photo below). "B58B30C" is correct as Nadir5 said.
