Audio system question/thoughts?

I find the volume steps to large for normal listening. Volume on 2 to quiet, and 3 is too loud, when driving slowly and you just want some background music. Is there any way to turn down the overal volume of the speakers to have more control over the volume? I have a trialmaster btw.
If you go into setting acoustic there are a range of standard options, some are quieter than others.
You could alternatively scroll down and select equaliser, you can then turn up or down all the frequency sliders to change the volume output across the board.

The premium package’s subwoofer needs to be tweaked. Poor setting will result in terrrible bass.

You need to tweak both the base level and the crossover.. the latter should be as low as possible to inject meaningful low punches to your music, without muddying up the mid and high range waveforms. It’s definitely not fool proof

I have had my Trislmaster almost a year and think the audio system has been on once, when I picked it up at the dealership. I turned it off the afternoon I picked up the car and left it off for the three day drive home and never turned it on again. 🤷🏼‍♂️
Wait, you are alone with your thoughts while driving. I don't think I could handle that, I would go insane.

My better half drives like that almost all the time, I can't do it

Well, the first 1,000 miles were spent listening for weird sounds 🤣. At 1k miles I put a tuner and high flow air filter and now I am loving hearing the turbo. I purchased but have not yet installed a cat back exhaust, so that is what's next.

Does anyone else find that the audio system feels a bit half assed? For example, no amount of adjustment I can make to the EQ using presets or otherwise affects much of anything. On some songs it’s just terribly bad but you can’t get rid of the horrible bass no matter what adjustments you make. I like good bass, but it’s not setup well. Has anyone tried any third-party solutions such as replacing the bass head, amplifiers, etc.? I see that many people commenting they don’t care about the electronics and bought them for the off-road. But damn I need good tunes and sound when I’m off-roading.

In addition, I often find that the loudest sound possible still doesn’t carry any serious volume on many songs. Like when I’m cruising with the windows down and the tops up the audio just is not loud enough when I’m driving at speed. In comparison my Targa has amazing sound even with the top pulled back and road/wind noise.

Thoughts?
The “Premium” sound system is quite mediocre, not befitting a vehicle with a &90,000. + price tag. I was actually quite shocked by how poorly designed it is. I’ve been reading posts here on this topic and plan on implementing some of the improvements. If you sound designers at INEOS are listening, please change the name on the build sheet to “Barely Adequate” sound system.

That's because despite the price, the Grenadier is in no way, shape, or form actually a luxury vehicle :)

Yeah but they just needed to add some tweeters in the dashboard and make the sound stage much more serviceable. All 4 speakers low in the doors is the main culprit for poor sound quality

Sht if a Toyota 4Runner can offer reasonable sound in a no frills trucks, so can the grenadier it’s 70% there…

Yes, 100% Matt. I've already logged this complaint with my dealer and am now planning to reach out to Ineos. They need to at least double the steps or gradient of the volume cause 14 is simply too little it should be at least 28! Cause because 1 and 0 is a huge volume difference and no other vehicle I've ever owned is like this. And it should honestly be a very simple solution in a software update

Agreed! Should be simple, but getting these software updates done to all vehicles seems very complicated and slow. Ineos Automotive is not Tesla.

I found that using the equalizer I could bump up every frequency to make level 1 an appropriate volume for background music....so that's something
