Hello World!

we will pick up our new Grenadier 2 seater utility wagon from Swiss dealership Tuesday next week - I count this as being an owner already :)

For many years, we were driving a Volkswagen Amarok, with a couple of modifications to make it more off road worthy and a zebra like appearance (you can read about some of its adventures on my website eants.de). We did several trips to Iceland and Scandinavia and actually quite liked the pickup. But after 12 years, parts start to fall off and the roof rack was not able to keep connection with the tent on top when driving dirt roads.

Last summer, we decided that it was time for a change after we had to go through some field repairs again. After we managed to get the car roadworthy (Duct tape... lots of duct tape), we had a look around and saw an interesting vehicle from a brand we did not recognize. Guess...

We started checking web pages and then decided to pay a visit to the INEOS dealer in Reykjavík. Really well worth the visit, they showed us all we wanted to see and more and were incredibly helpful with answering all of our many questions. Then waiting in line for the ferry back to Denmark we met another owner, interestingly from Switzerland as well and had a long chat. He also told us how much Black Sheep modified his Grenadier so that will be our next stop, I messaged them yesterday with a list of what we have in mind.

I look forward to some exchange with this forum, usually community makes a difference!

Kind regards,
Frank
