Adrenaline 100%, ready to bail out and torch car. My "buddy" pictured below decided to appear as I was driving...good to know that even at my ripe age of 61 I can still scream like a little girl.

My daughter unfortunately did have a smash due to a huntsman on the windscreen inside her 504 Peugeot diesel.
An interesting article below:

19 Feb 2018 — Arachnologist Dr Robert Raven reveals that the vibrations of an idling diesel 4WD can act like a magnet for all kinds of spiders.

The vibration of a helicopter on rocks in The Kimberley (near the Charnley River Gorge) brought out lots and lots of native cockroaches. They were everywhere around the helicopter. As soon as the engine stopped and there was no more vibrations, they were gone.

Lovely harmless huntsman spider.
Very common here and often find them in our cars. Or their shed skins.
I taught my sons the "Keep calm and carry on" mantra.
Wouldn't want them driving off a cliff.

I try to be calm about these things but spiders.. why does it have to be spiders.. I would park, walk away and wait for an Uber to take me to the Dealer for a new vehicle.

You Aussie are built different. I remember seeing a video of a huntsman carrying a mouse up a wall in someone's house. Yea I'm good. I complain about wolf spiders in Pacific Northwest
