Try it. Stay inside the vehicle, lock it with the key fob, wait 10 minutes for the electrics to go to sleep. ( you'll hear the relays de-energiseing. ) Then move about and see what happens.If you sleep in your Granny and set the alarm,will the alarm be triggered if you move ?

Exactly as a did with mine to test the jack on my side steps. The alarm went off because the vehicle was locked.Well, yesterday my "Front Runner Extended Hi-Lift Jack Adaptor 250mm" arrived that I bought for my Hi-Lift, because I have the Buzz-Overland rock sliders and they have a hole for this. I tested it today (forgot to take pictures).

So, I begun to lift my car, in fact tilting it, and my alarm went off!
Why? Because my car was locked!
Good to know that the alarm works.
Probably only because of the tilting.
