Try the popular method, that frequently works of not starting the engine until the HVAC start up process is complete. The time is about the same as it takes the centre console to fire up. i.e. get in, turn the key to position 1, then put your belt on, wait a second or two and then fire up.Same thing just happened for first time for me in Utah desert in August! I have 2500 miles on my quartermaster. Going for software update next week to get rid of speed warning and will have them look at ac too and report back. WTF?!
If you go straight to firing up the engine and interrupting the HVAC start up, it seems more likely to play up.
