Added L-Track in Cargo Area Floor?

Has anyone added a third (or more) L-track rail on the cargo area floor, parallel to the factory rails? I'm contemplating doing so in order to have that intermediate rail for lashing some loads down, particularly if other cargo is blocking access to a factory rail (e.g. my refrigerator).

I would prefer to do it without adding a "plate" like the one offered by Goose Gear, but that may prove to be the easiest option. Thoughts welcome.

I added one perpendicular to the factory rails.

Works very well for narrow things like a fridge slide.
