So after a few years of watching I’ve about decided to purchase a 2026 model Grenadier SW. I live in the panhandle of Florida so the distance from a dealer for warranty / oil change / software updates was always a concern for me.

Where is Ineos on the ability to have regular maintenance performed locally and be able to reset the dash light? How about some of the other reported gremlins like cracked windows, larger tire/lift issues, and water intrusion? Have these be addressed ?

I appreciate any guidance or information!!!

I don't think Ineos is considering actual doing anything about those things. For the maintenance reset we've been told it is coming, however zero information or timeline was given.

Problems and solutions are openly discussed at IA’s dealer events, where dealers pass on the heat they get from existing customers and voice what makes it difficult to sell to prospects. Water ingress, door knobs, windshield, etc. have been adressed. Service reset seems to be a strategy issue, and lifts a technical and warranty policy issue. Most owners of 23, 24, and 25 models did fare extremely well and the 26 model is certainly the best Grenadier ever made so what is to fear? And given that the Grenadier is incredibly capable in all terrains, only a handful of use cases will profit from or even require a lift. Your dealer should know all changes made in the 2026 model, and what lift is tolerable and what is not. If you feel unsure why not discuss with the dealer all technical issues that prevent you from buying and how they have been adressed, and if you are considering a lift why not ask for an offroad test drive with a loaner to see wether you actually need one?

Crown Ineos in St. Pete, FL does mobile maintenance, I used them last month. It was super easy. They came to Orlando which was two hours away. I don't know how far they travel so I would suggest calling to ask.

No resolution at this time, though there are rumors of a OBD2 type dongle to allow for some of this.

How about some of the other reported gremlins like

cracked windows,

No resolution. I've had two replacement windshields. My advice would be to increase following distance, as this seems to be the biggest contributor to impacts.

larger tire/lift issues

This continues to be an issue, specifically with the front drive shaft. Ineos has not acknowledged it as an issue, nor is there a fix. I would not lift any Grenadier at this time.

and water intrusion?

Generally, water intrusion issues seem limited and resolved by dealers. Others may disagree with this assesment.

Have these be addressed ?

No, not really.

That said, I'm 2 years and 35k miles into mine and love it like the day I picked it up.

Go to the 32 pages and growing of folks complaining since Wednesday that the maintenance program reminder function has crashed.....and you'll have to go to a dealer to get it reset - if they ever fix the software. And you're thinking about paying how much for this thing?

People complain most than others but in the end, the majority here still love their Grenadier and they would do it all over again. To me it’s not a big deal, I just ignore the alert. I have no doubt that INEOS will fix the bug.

None are with the dealers yet. So, make sure you are actually getting an MY26 and not a dealer selling an MY24 or 25 pretending it's an MY26.

If you are not lifting it, then don't worry about that. Otherwise don't lift it.
Water intrusion was fixed in MY24.
The cracked windows are unknown, as that appears to be luck of the draw with a lot of guesses on the cause, but the MY25 had a different windscreen frame at the top. I don't know if that was cost-saving or a fix to change the tension.
