2025 Grenadier with about 2700 miles. No issues to date except for today when idling in car pool line with engine running I noticed an excessive amount of smoke coming from under the car. Couldn’t tell if it was coming from exhaust or somewhere else underneath. Turned the car off and it stopped, moved it to side of road and let it sit for a couple minutes and no more smoke.

Drove it about 20 minutes back home and no issues.

No lights or warnings or anything like that. Engine temperature normal. Looked underneath, under the hood and on the ground with no visible leaks. Using 87 octane fuel.

Do y’all have any ideas? I didn’t see any similar issues posted on the forum.

well last time I had white smoke that went away after some time it was due to a turbo leak, but it was internal not external leak. I had it on a Ecoboost 3.5L. Not saying that is it but check oil level often. Keep eye on it or if you are close take it in see if then can find it.

May some protection grease for transporting the car from Europe to elsewhere via ship. You may have finally reached an engine, differental, exhaust etc temperature for a longer period thus the grease o protection film is evaporating.

Most likely a plastic bag or road debris melted on your hot exhaust. It burned off once and is gone, which is why you see no leaks and it drives fine. Very common on new vehicles. Just keep an eye on it.
Makes a lot of sense. My son also spotted a dead squirrel in the car pool line. Wonder if that poor thing somehow got stuck in there and umm expired.

Great point! No issues since so I’m thinking it was a one off. Drove through a bunch of unpaved mountain roads today and performed excellent.

totally had this pictured in my head when I read the subject line of this thread:

That is a scary thought - I really don't think we should introduce our Grenadiers to bad habits.

My block paving still hasn't recovered from 20 years of Land Rovers marking their territory.
