I'm told that the 1924 wheels are the same as the regular 17" alloy but diamond cut. Makes it look completely different. I quite like the look but hate the lack of durability that comes with diamond cut wheels. A lot of looking after is required.

I put my Landrover diamond cut wheels in the garage until I sold it once I started using as an offroad vehicle. Just cleaning them left surface scratches and the cost of refurbishment made them a stupid standard fit for an offroad vehicle. I get that very few are used that way, especially in UK, and they are more for the look on the school run or company carpark.
