Back in September, I ordered an InkyBlack 1924 Ed Grenadier. I’m planning to take it on a few trips overlanding, and now regret not adding the Raised Air Intake to the factory build - apparently, the provisional building date in 14 March. Is this something that is easily retro-fitted by the dealer (Chandlers, Belton), or should I forget about it?

You can add it later. People sell them used as well (takeoffs). It doesn’t increase wading depth. It only helps to prevent some dust from potentially and prematurely clogging the air filter.

I had one on my discovery… I did not spec on the grenadier. I just don’t spend enough time in dry dusty off-road conditions to warrant it.
